Small Weddings & Elopements
Documenting weddings and elopements are among the most joyous and rewarding opportunities as a photographer. One of my favorite things about helping tell these stories is in sharing the awe, joy, and excitement of two people seeing a long-awaited moment come to fruition.
When I look back at my own wedding photos, they continue to summon the same emotions I had on that day. This is because there are so many candid, unscripted, and unposed moments which collectively encapsulate my partner and I as humans. This is precisely what I strive for when documenting weddings and elopements myself - not just pretty pictures with everybody smiling, but a vivid story that evokes emotion and memories.
There are few greater feelings than experiencing the sun bringing Mount Rainier and her wildflowers to life or Mount Baker disappearing in the fading evening alpenglow with your person. Sometimes an early wake up call, strapping on hiking boots, and chasing the golden hour without an audience is the perfect way to bring your story full circle.
