Telling your story
Photography is about human connection, as much as it is about imagery. Many photographers can take "pretty pictures." I try to go beyond that. Understanding what makes you uniquely you is the art of great capturing a candid, real, and honest depiction of you - not copying or replicating other images and poses.
My goal is to convey your personality and emotions, but to do so requires mutual comfortability. I see my clients as opportunities to build a relationship, and even a friendship, much more than as simply a transaction.

Telling my story
I am a small wedding, elopement, and portrait photographer based in Seattle, WA. My style is photojournalistic, using natural light only, meaning I focus more on ‘directing’ or ‘prompting’, rather than ‘posing,' to create a natural and realistic portrayal of YOU. I am eager to get to know you!
My background as a healthcare provider, with special interest in pain and injury psychology, has positioned me well to connect, and develop rapport, with my clients. This allows for a comfortable and engaging experience in front of a camera!

1. LEARN
Behind every photograph is a story that involved mutual communication, understanding, and collaboration. I invite you to navigate beyond just the galleries - especially the Meet Chris, Core Values and FAQ pages - to better understand the guy behind the camera.
2. CHAT
Let’s meet up for a coffee or an adult beverage! Getting to know each other is the best way to establish trust, comfort, expectations, and to make sure all parties are comfortable moving forward. Think of this as a “try before you buy” kind of thing!
3. PLAN
Let’s dream! Planning is my forte. Whether you have no idea what you want, only know what you DON’T want, or know exactly what you are looking for, let’s hammer out those details together. Once we have formulated a plan (and often a plan B) that you LOVE, it is easy to book, pay, and sign.
4. RELAX!
All that’s left is for us to hang out. You get to live in the moment, I get to capture it. It’s a win-win.
